Citadel AD500 .308WIN

I watched a few video reviews, including some in Russian language. Takeaways are:
  • very reliable, no malfunctions incl. when left overnight at -27 C and then shot 5 rds rapid fire
  • 2-3 MOA accuracy
  • POA shifts 2-3 inches after reassembly if optics is used due to removable barrel
  • okay-ish 4-5 lbs trigger pull
  • proprietary 5-rd mags

So, this thread confirms that POI shifts after reassembly and barrel nut gets loose during shooting.. and they also discuss using cans with it. Damn, Russia has better gun laws than Canada, what a shame.

I think POI will not shift if iron sights are used, but shotgun style removable barrel is definitely not good for shooting tight groups. Probably, Akdas 223 has the same issues, as it is the same design style.

Isn’t that crazy! A communist kleptocratic country has more trust in their people, than this communist kleptocratic country.

308 one seems a bit more Benelli R1 like with gas system.
The 223 one looks like a cheap Turkish shotgun gas system, stepped barrel looks wrong, but only $500 more for that goodness.

I remember an article in Nat Geo from the 70's, a Japanese fellow wanted to go solo to the North Pole and take a Handgun with him for protection, the Govt of Turd 1 wouldn't let him, he ended up taking a 303 and killing a Polar Bear with it.
