Citori 725 field 20 guage?

I've had a lot of interest in this gun. Does anyone have one on here preferably last five years since the inception of mechanical triggers and invector choke tubes. Any info on how you like it would be appreciated?

I do a lot of hiking so a nice light easy handling 20 guage over under would be nice.

The Browning 725 in 12 gauge is very popular at my sporting clays club and problems with it are very few. I don't know anyone who has the field version but I'm sure it will be all that the Sporting Clays version is.
 
I have the 725 field in 12 gauge but only use it for clay birds. I absolutely love this gun. If there were enough grouse in my area I would own the same gun in 20 gauge just for hunting. If the 725 fits I'm sure you would never look back.
 
Bought the 725 Sporting 20 gauge with 32” barrels for sporting, one of my favourite guns. The field gun will do fine in sporting but I wanted the longer LOP and 32” barrels of the sporting. I’ve shot the field model and would certainly recommend it for your needs.
 
I have a 725 field 20ga 28"barrels . This by far is my favorite gun to hunt with . I have shoot it on several occasions on the sporting clays course . Point great and is a joy to carry .
 
I had a 725 field 20g 28” that fell into my lap and I intended to use for upland. Never used it but passed it along last year. Was a nice little SG I thought but eye alignment just didn’t come up right for me consistently. On the other hand I have a citori lightning 12g that comes up perfect every time. Recommend trying out the fit and feel of it in person to make sure it is right for you. If it is it would likely be a nice addition for you.
 
I have a 725 feather. It is an excellent gun that would likely last you a lifetime.

I do find that the 725 fits me differently then my other Citori, just as northfork suggests above. So much so, that I dont shoot it as well which ultimately means I dont shoot it much. I guess I took it for granted that Brownings usually fit me well right out of the box, but this wasn't the case with the 725. My Lightnings fit me perfectly. I would suggest you check if for fit before you invest the big bucks. But if it fits well, it will be a gun you’ll be proud to own
 
My observation is the pre 725 Browning shooters never warmed up to the 725. A few have tried them and gone back to the 625, 525, 425, etc. The shooters that started with the 725 get along fine with them.
 
I have the 725 field 12g and use it for ducks and clays. Really like the fit and no issues so far. If i didn't already have a Beretta 686 20 for upland, I probably would have gone for the Browning Superlight feather 20g. That might be worth a look if you do a lot of walking and want something really light. Granted not everyone likes the english stock though and frankly the 725 feather 20 is not that much heavier.
