Citori Injectors

I have a 1975 Citori. Shells are occasionally going past the ejector when loading or not being ejected after being fired. I ordered a new set of ejectors but on installing them they hit the extension screw and the extractor sticks out about 1/8” from being flush in the barrel. A side by side comparison of the old & new extractor shows that the new one can’t be filed down to fit as the stud on the ejector would be partially removed. The shop I bought the ejectors from says they are what is currently available.

Anyone have. Any idea on a fix for this. The rest of the Citori functions well and I’d like to get it functioning properly again.

Thanks in advance.

I usually recommend Arts Gun Shop for Browning troubles or info, but found this one.
Might offer up some hints and comparisons for your troubles today.

Your gun may be the first generation of Citoris, called a pre-type 1, that was made by Miroku. As such, the Browning inspired changes were not fully implemented. For example, the pre-type 1 has no engraving. I'm wondering if the ejectors were different on the pre-type 1?
