Civilian SCAR-H?!

I find this odd. Why would an insurgent buy expensive American gear, when they could get cheap Chinese and Russian stuff that works just as well? Honestly, it just sounds like more gun control, but with a different excuse.

Well... last video I saw on break dot com is that the insurgents glue nuts and bolts around the outside of the bomb to make an IED... so what are they going to ban nuts and bolts from home depot now???

looks good as a long rifle also

I wouldn't trade either of my Swiss Arms rifles for one...probably not my new LMT M4 either. That stock looks like it was modelled on a mutated seal flipper crossed with a deformed shark fin. The upper looks a lot like the XCR, which also holds no interest for me. Of the two, the .308 SCAR-H would have to be preferred if it retailed for under $2K...I wouldn't drop $3K on it...if I won the lottery...maybe. The new Magpul MASADA esthetically, looks like a much more refined rifle, and that took what? 6 months to design?

keep your fingers crossed - until they deliver to the Socom in quantity, the civies versions are unlikely to materialize.

I would rather wait for Colt Gas-piston rifle. That has equally unlikely chance of showing up in Canada, and I like it's regular AR design whole lot better. And I know modern polymer frame is as good as steel frame, but I just don't like platic parts in a rifle that could cost a lot of money.

At first look the Scar is pretty ugly i agree, but, after a couple of months of seeing pictures of it it has grown on me. I do hope they planned a way to put other styles of stocks on it tho.
