FWIW, every clay target club I've shot at in Ontario restricts the number of shells in the gun to no more than two. When shooting clays at our club load more than two and you'll warned. Do it again and you'll be gone.I've done some searching and as far as I can tell, in canada while target shooting, semi automatic shotguns are limited to maximum 5 round capacity....
True?
Extended tubes on semi-automatics ARE entirely legal. But you need to put a dowel or limiter in them so they can only hold 5 rounds maximum of the largest shell type the shotgun was designed to fire.
So for those of you that just want "that look", and don't mind needlessly adding weight to your shotgun... You can totally put an extension on your semi-auto shotgun, but you must then internally remove the "extended" capacity.
