That's pretty awesome with the knife sheath IN the sling! I recently picked up a Levy padded sling for my No. 1, I figured a classic looking rifle deserved a classy sling. I'd like to eventually find one that will hold a couple of cartridges though; the downfall of single shots is fumbling to find that second shell.

That sling would weigh almost as much as that gun. Too heavy for me. I use a plain jane, no frills 1" leather or nylon.

No pictures but my favorite sling is the Galco Safari.
Comfortable on the shoulder and good quick support for offhand shooting.

very good, but this is the " classic beautiful hunting gun sling them them up" thread, so ... yeah, maybe a new thread to for them would work better and keep it on topic.

Is the second from the bottom of a P-17? My dad has one on his old 30-06 and Im not sure if they were from surplus. Ah crap, they are kinda pretty though..

I like leather stuff and some leather slings are pretty cool, especially that knife sheath one and stuff like that. Of course, I don't own any and probably never will, but I do like to look at them.
