Classic Division Holster Requirements

Hey guys

I'm looking into picking up a holster for my 1911, I wanted to run it in Classic division. I was wondering if the Double Alpha race holsters are allowed. I didn't see anything saying they weren't when I browsed through the rules, but I wanted to confirm before ordering one

I totally would run the bladetech holster but they don't offer the Sig 1911 fit in LH for me :(

Which is why I'm searching for other options
 
Race holsters are allowed in IPSC Classic. Also nothing wrong with using a Kydex type holster.

In USPSA race holsters are not allowed in their Single-Stack division.
 
Get the race master or alpha x but be aware that some 1911s don't fit the day inserts well.
My sti trojan fit but my sti sentry did not.

If you planning to go to US and/or shoot USPSA matches with the same Classic gun (and you totally should!), you won't be able to use race holster there (unless you shoot their Limited or Limited 10, aka Standard division)
