The cheap digital fish scale I have weighs in at .3lbs. Heavier than aluminum obviously, but one piece and probably bomb proof. Hmm, that give me a idea.....

Thanks for the news flash. If you see JR's post above you will see that these were ordered 16 months ago. We have all models of rifle, carbine and CQB on order. We even hope to see some. Unfortunately SAN produces when they can, and we cannot get a more accurate production schedule from them. If you want a particular item, my recommendation is that you email your phone number to me at jamesb@theshootingedge.com with your desire. If the items arrive, you will get a call. Sorry we can't be any more responsive than this.

I know it's outside your control and I'm sure you guys would deliver if you could, maybe you can communicate to SAN the marketability of the shorter restricted carbines?

SAN can't produce rifles fast enough to sell them. A sale of 100 more to us, means very little to their bottom line. They have continued to fill our VERY old POs when they could, and we are thankful for that. I appreciate that in retail, timing is often everything. Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do to affect it here. I guess the good news is that current owners of these firearms can generally rest assured that they will remain collectable.
