There are two guns, one of which I'd like to get, the High Point Carbine and the Cx4 Storm. I could have sworn that they were non restricted but the ones I'm seeing online lately are restricted. Are they sold in different barrel lengths or something? I'd really like to get a non restricted high point.

The cx4 in its original configuration had a 16" barrel (May have been 16.5"), thus restricted. Canadian gun owners and their customers would install 18.5" barrels making them nonrestricted... Then berreta did a batch of factory nonrestricted cx4s. So to summarize, the cx4 can be both.

The high points are restricted. I'm not 100% on this but I think they are made of cheap pot metal and are hard to change the barrels on. That said, I've seen a few nonrestricted ones.
