Classification Question - Armi Jager AP85

Looking for info on Armi Jager/Jaeger/Yaeger AP85. (bullpup)

AKA: Mitchell arms AP85/ Mitchell M.A.S. / Adler AP85 , etc.


there was another thread quite some time ago that fizzled out and PM's to the OP went unanswered

without being able to see the Prohib list anymore, my google skills have reached their limit

can anyone tell me the staus of this rifle? Restricted, Prohib, etc.

any and all help is greatly appreciated and i thank you in advance

Likely prohibited as a FAMAS variant. You would need to see the FRT and how it's listed there.

Tragic...ain't it? Take that action, put it in a sporter-style stock, and it's non-restricted. Put that identical action & barrel in an AR-style stock, and it's restricted. Put in an AK- or FAMAS-styled stock, and it's prohibited. Insane.

It's like "That car's fine, 'cause it doesn't have a spoiler. Put a spoiler on it, though, there's lots of restrictions. Add a spoiler AND a racing stripe, prohibited!!...you baby-killer!!"

It's just painful...
