Not sure I understand how this actually works out.
Lets say you are classified as "C" and you go out and shoot the next 6 qualifiers at 90%
Will any of them be used, or all flagged.
Thanks

I think they are all discarded and the system only rewards slow progress....its done for your own protection

Queue the debate over actual A vs paper A.

That's what I thought, thanks for the clarification Onagoth.
So, if one was a GM, then they could simply zero classifiers and keep their class. Correct me if that is wrong.

Thanks guys. Just trying to understand.

I don't think classification can ever go down unless they reset the benchmarks times for the classifier stages.

In Ontario, to use your example of a "C" classified shooter, only scores of 35% to 74.999% will count towards their classification (5% below to 15% above their current class). If you shot 6/6 classifiers at 90% and had excellent match results to back them up, then you could appeal your classification to the BoD and will likely be moved to a more reasonable classification. You can move down in classification, but it would be a gradual decline as any score more then 5% below your classification will be discarded.

You cannot move down in classification in Ontario. If you are a B, you will never be a C again.

i believe in BC, classifications are based off a trailing 3 qualifier average... so if you shot 3 matches above the current classification threshhold then yes, you would be moved up, and vis versa.
