Clay from Prophet River

When my Cooper Jackson Hunter did not return in time from having some minor warranty work done at the factory,Clay lent me a brand new Excalibur to use on my upcoming hunt with the option of buying it if I liked it,or sending it back at no charge if I didn't.I had one day to test loads and sight it in,and after a total of ten rounds and three groups averaging less than .600",I called Clay to report my findings. He offered me a great price on the rifle, and a deal was made. How many other dealers would lend a customer a new $2000+ rifle to use on a hunt with no commitment to buy?In my opinion,Clay sets the standard for customer service.

:agree:
None that I know of. IMO this is a prime example of why to buy from a smaller outfit, don't see anyone raving about the service from the WSS's out there:eek:

The reverse is true, unfortunatley. There are pages and pages of unhappy posters. I probably spend the most of my dollars at our local gun shop in Kamloops. Not a sponsor here, but good, knowledgeable staff who are all involved in the local shooting scene. There is a WSS here. I buy my cleaning supplies there, maybe a sling or new graphite cleaning rod. They have a good price on Acraglas too. I can find it all on the shelf and away I go to the checkout. No need to wait and wait and wait and wait..... listening to objectionable advice being given, or someone with limited personal knowledge spew. :kickInTheNuts:

I have had three dealings with Clay and have always found him to perfect to deal with. Always willing to take the time to ensure complete satisfaction of his customer. Now that is what I call "SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND!"
He will be the first in line to get my dollars.
His sunday service via the EE forum shows his dedication to his customer base and has won him a few friends to say the least.
Keep up the good work Clay.

What went wrong on your cooper?

Yep, gotta agree, Clay da man

Just bought a rifle from him. Due to a wonky website, he had two different prices on the gun I wanted. The higher price was the asking one, but he immediately honored the older, lower price. Answered his phone at home after closing and took all my info. Had a nice little chat with me too. He might be busy, but he treated me like a human. Gun showed up so fast, I swear he took it down to the Posties that night. Will buy from him again (when I have money :D). Now I have to go add to his positive trader rating since I forgot to do so when I received the bang stick.

Thanks Clay.

I bought a shotgun from him this fall and was very pleased with the product, his knowledge of the product and his service. I will without a doubt deal with him again.

Cheers!!

Have picked up a few rifles from clay, great guy to deal with. All the rifles seem to show up very quickly, will have to try a cooper one of these days.
