Clay's powder

I have been searching for Clay's powder. No one has none that I talked to. It is very disappointing. Out of frustration, I called some of the big reloading outfits south of us and same thing... no powder available.
So I sent an email to Hodgdon and this is what I got back:

"Supply will be increasing by early summer but demand will be enormous"

What is a reloader to do? I have not shot factory in 40 years.
 
either offer $50+ per pound on the EE or buy some factory ammo or find a new load. there is a powder shortage in case you've been under a rock.

have you checked all the suppliers above?

Tightgroup, Red Dot, and 700X seem to be available. I understand the preference for Clays, but I don't expect to see any for at least a year. When I do, I will grab at least 16 pounds of Clays Universal.
 
I believe that the factory in Australia where Clays is produced had a fire but is starting to come back online now.I like Clays for my 45 so have missed it,havent seen any of it for years.It seems that pistol/shotgun powder is slowly becoming available again so hopefully we will see clays again soon
