Hi
This new barrel is showing this , clean cold bore first shot impacts 1” away from the next 9 shots, haven’t tried fouled cold bore though, it’s usually 75-90 fps slower than the rest of the 9 shots, I do 10 shot groups, btw its a 6.5x47 cal, Krieger bbl

It’s typical that cold bore and the first several post-cleaning shots will go differently than your barrel shoots once it’s warm and fouled.

Velocities usually increase with a warmer barrel. Is your rifle for hunting or target shooting? Do you use an extreme/temperature insensitive gun powder?

Get a straw and blow your moist breath down the barrel then fire your first shot. Problem solved or atleast improved... report back

Yup, sounds about right. A lot of rifles will shoot slightly off with a cold bore. Or a cold bore is slightly off from warm. Depends on what your purpose is. Hunting: sight for cold bore. Target: slight for warm bore.
Most of mine are 1 MOA high on cold bore.

This is how my hunting rifle seems to shoot. Took it out today, fired first shot from a clean bore… 1.5 inch high.. next 4 1 moa group

Its shooting on high .2s” not to include the first clean cold shot, next session will try cold but fouled barrel and see how it does
