has anyone ever used boretech eliminator?? What do you think of it??

I'v used jb paste with kroil after. I brushed the barrel many times with the jb paste than cleaned it out than cleaned with kroil. After i though it was clean i used a few patches with boretech eliminator and got so much fouling out it was like i had never even cleaned the gun to start with.

This makes me think that JB&kroil is overrated and does not work great at all. I have stoped using it and i use the boretech all the time now. I do however wipe it out with the kroil after because i dont like the sticky residue that the boretech leaves behind.

it takes about 6 rounds to get the gun back on target after a good cleaning.

You're over-cleaning, it isn't necessary unless you're storing. Routine cleaning should not require you to re-season the barrel like that.

Tried Boretech, wasn't impressed. I posted a tread a while back were I soaked bullets in various solvents over night. Boretech made a lot of blue color, but did little to change the weight of the bullet.

I've been using KG-2 every few hundred rounds for a good while now and haven't had to use the KG-12 lately. It is the absolute best for copper though.

Barrel blaster foaming cleaner.
I spray it in and leave the rifle over night pointed down to a rag. Morning, rag is dirty and i run a rod through with a patch covered in Hoppes. Barrell looks brand new.
