Was talking with someone and they mentioned that after 6 shots with sabot slugs the plastic fouling affects accuracy. I thought my barrel looked clean but I was not getting great accuracy so I finally located some Shooters Shotgun and choke tube Cleaner which not only cleans copper and lead but also plastic fouling. I was amazed at the amount of plastic fouling that came out.

I also trying some Hoppes copper solvent because it is supposed to work on plastic fouling as well
It seems very hard to find cleaner for shotgun barrels - Any one else notice this?

OTIS Shotgun Blend Plastic Remover - this is a great product and involves minimum effort for cleaning both smooth and rifled bore.

I have seen their other products in stores in Ontario but can't find the shotgun barrel cleaner but will keep looking. Maybe Basspro or the new Cabellas that is opening in Barrie Ont
I have a large can of acetone- any reason why I could not first run some swabs with acetone through and then use a regular cleaner to remove lead/ copper?

As fiddler suggested, make up some Ed's Red.
Equal parts acetone,ATF,varsol and kerosene.
Mix outdoors, and you have a couple years' worth of cleaning solution good for everything but copper fouling.
