I'll take the opinion of the guys that are actually manufacturing powder and ammo over the lawyer's warnings from RCBS any day.So a opinion is what we are basing ones beliefs in rather than what the manufacturer of said products issues a safety warning over?
They do, it's called limiting liability and I'm sure their lawyers added that clause to try and limit lawsuits from any customers who do something stupid and get injured along the way while using RCBS equipment.Plus I'm sure RCBS must have a well founded reason for issuing such a warning with their product.
Yeah, me too.I'll take the opinion of the guys that are actually manufacturing powder and ammo over the lawyer's warnings from RCBS any day.

I miss his wise and knowledgeable postings! Are these quotes from sunray <spit> ?
Because you can't seem to grasp this, I am advocating for listening to the manufacturers of the product in question, not the lawyers of an unrelated third party who is trying to protect against spurious litigation.Yeah, me too.
Listening to lawyers speak is for the sheeple.
I also don't run the manufacturers recommended oil grade in my new vehicle's engine because lots of people online tell me that you don't need too!
And you can get cheaper oil in a thicker grade.
They claim that the manufacturers lawyers say that I should run a lighter grade oil but online they say it is only to get better government mileage rating for the manufacturer but is not needed.
Well we still have you.I miss his wise and knowledgeable postings!
Sunray was mildly unknowledgeable but a fkg saint in comparison to some of the crap around now. (chuckle)Are these quotes from sunray <spit> ?
It literally doesn’t matter.Make sure it is TUMBLED and not VIBRATED !!
Doug
Autism.Why?
Prove it.The vibration will breakdown the powder into smaller granules, thus increasing burn rate & pressure levels when fired.
You ever separate the dust BEFORE putting it in to your tumbler?I wonder why my Walnut cleaning/polishing media in a vibratory cleaner eventually turns to a fine powder or gets much smaller and no longer cleans well after a certain period of use?
Could it be that the vibration is causing this?
Would this also happen to the smokeless powder and it's burn rate deterrent coatings or acid stabilizing coatings inside the ammo in constant agitation against each other and the case/base of the bullet I wonder? Probably not, that would be alarmist!
I wonder what companies who make the actual machines say about it?

Yeah, when new and I have a fine mesh sieve/sifter that I also wash and rinse my media with hot water and detergent every 6th batches of cases I do.You ever separate the dust BEFORE putting it in to your tumbler?
It’s a good job our cases aren’t filled with walnut then, right? Then we’d really be in trouble.
Interesting that nobody remembers the (chuckle) laughtrack sunray added to his posts??Sunray was mildly unknowledgeable but a fkg saint in comparison to some of the crap flying around now. (chuckle)
