Cleaning brass with a liquid wash?

Thumler tumbler.
5 pound bag of SS pins
Brass to about half to 2/3 full
Dawn or sunlight dish soap - decent squirt
Leminshine - I use a Lee powder scoop full from a 9mm die set. (I started off using a half full 9mm case)
Fill with water to within 1 - 2 inches of full.

Soaking brass in vinegar for 20 mins and then washing it with dish soap worked for me when I needed really clean inside- out brass.

Before I bought my tumbler, I was using a solution like the above.
To every 500 ml of hot/boiling water, I was adding a McDonald's packet of
vinegar, one fast food packet of salt, one tablespoon of dish soap, and
sometimes one tablespoon of Simple Green. Not the strongest concentration
but can be made stronger quite easily.

Just rinse once or twice in hot/warm water in a collander you
won't be using for food, ever again, then dry the brass
by your favorite method :D
