Cleaning lead residue from cylinder

hey folks. so for those that shoot 38 special out of a .357 or a .44 special out of a .44 mag. the easiest way ive found to get rid of the ring in the cylinder is to attatch the cleaning brush (bronze) to your brass cleaning rod. chuck it up into your drill use your favorite cleaning solution and hone it out. ive been doing this since i started shooting revolvers about 7 years ago. and it works like a charm.

Lewis Lead remover. Brownells carries them.

Clymer makes a drillbit-like drill specifically designed to remove the 38 special burn ring for .357 cylinders.

Lewis Lead remover is great for barrels and the forcing cone but pretty useless for cylinders... the various methods above work better...
