I just wipe my loaded rounds clean with a cotton cloth. A bit of residue may be left behind and this can pose problems. Any better methods of lube freeing loaded rounds?

Take a large towel with lots of nap.
Put a bit of solvent (varsol) in the middle, and put your loaded ammo on top.
Pick up the ends of the towel to form a "hammock" with your loaded rounds inside.
Lift each end (alternating) to tumble the ammo back and forth over the solvent spot. (10 -12 times should do it)
Dump out onto clean paper to dry.
The solvent dissolves the lube, and the dry part of the towel wipes it off the cases when you tumble it back and forth.
FWIW.....
I use the same method to lube large qtys of casings for sizing. Sub case lube for varsol.
You never get too much lube on the case using this method.

I used to use a towel, but it took forver. Brake clean works great, but don't let it get in contact with a RCBS loading block, or you'll be more worried about the melted plastic all over your cases than the excess lube. I don't do this on loaded rounds, but it shouldn't be a problem as it'll evaporate pretty quickly.
