For my Nemesis, in 600+ rounds, it never saw a metallic brush, one small oily patch after a session, one little dry patch at the beginning of another session, accuracy never been so good, i will give the same treatment to my Sig SSG 3000, unless accuracy go south... JP.
I find the boresnake to be a practical tool for emergency or light pass... JP.
Same here, 500 or 5000 dollars rifles get the first 50 shots no to fast but no more than that... JP
Boresnake are used in all my rifles as a fast spare cleaning tool, and it work great, once in a while, i put them all in a pillow case and wash them in my old washing machine... JP.
They are good to remove powder residus or to wipe out a bore that is oily, at the end tru the loop, you just put a lenght of clean rag and pull it, work good... JP.
Hey, i respect that, i just dont do it your way and never had a problem... Cheers. JP.
No problem, i guess not everybody is a competive shooter, never the less we are shooters and we use a boresnake, i think this discussion is turning into bits an pièces, s it really important, i will use it in my new Sig 3000 and my Steyr Luxus 300 mag, i dont think it will make a big difference... Cheers.JP.
Jezus neither will I. Hey they letting you guys use actual good sovents on your issued rifles or you still have to stick with CLP?

I generally just use Hoppes 9 on a patch in the barrel for preservation, with a few dry patches afterwards to get rid of the excess.
When accuracy suffers, I go to the copper and carbon cutters, then once I am not pulling crud out on patches, I give it one more patch with oil.
What do you guys prefer for cleaning, and how often do you do it?
The Nemesis love the dirt rope... JP.
Wipe out buddy. Really is amazing stuff. We use it at work on the C14s now.
That's what she said...

Anything i can do to keep all things foreign out of my precious bbl i will do. More barrels get ruined by azzholes who don't know how to clean them than a high round count ever did.
it had been cleaned 3-4 times! excluding the oil patchs for storage
