Cleaning rod in a new Walther ppq box?

SO I decided to pull the trigger ( hahaha) and purchase a new walther ppq q5 match. I go and look at it the other day and there is a spot for the cleaning rod in the box but its not there? Can anyone chime in. I would assume if there is a cut out for it that it should be there but this is the first brand new pistol I have ever bought?

Don't know about ppq, but when I bought my P99 qa it came with polymer cleaning rod. I see no reason that Walther would cheap out and not provide new gun and customer with one. Usually included.

I have purchased both the regular 5" PPQ M2 and the Q5 and neither came with a cleaning rod.

You should have bought it as a combo, you would have saved a bit.
