If in doubt, Zeiss sells packages of disposable cloths soaked in cleaning solution that they recommend using on all their optical products. I saw them today for about 8 bucks for 20. Just my 2 cents.
Would the water-vinegar trick be okay to get the residual solvent off the lens?![]()
X2!! I buy these in boxes of 50 at my local optometrist's, but I do not pay $8 for 20. I believe it is around $4.97 for 50. They come individually packaged and are the best thing I have ever found. Handy and effective, Zeiss guarantees that they will not affect any coatings on the lenses of scopes, Cameras, eyeglasses, etc. Regards, Eagleye.
