Cleaning sizing wax

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I was thinking it is wax and I could probably pour boiling water over the brass to remove it. Just did not want to make it wet again. Probably just try the wipe it off with a rag approach and still throw it in the tumbler. I know the wife would be grumpy if I used any brake cleaner or such in the house.
 
I just wipe the cases down after sizing them with a piece of paper toweling.

Each piece will easily wipe clean ten standard size rifle cases.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get more aggressive but it works for me and has for over 50 years.

I do the same with a rag. Never had an issue.

There you go. Simple and it works. Some of you guys would probably faint if you watched in operation. :p
 
I just wipe them with a microfiber towel. Unless you're working with gloves on, the next time you put your fingers on a case, you're putting oil and wax back on.
