I was afraid you wouldn't understand the veiled analogy. There was a TV commercial years ago (that I can't find) where the elderly "father" was out at the grocery store and returned home surprised to find his adult daughter in the living room. He takes a lemon out of a paper bag (purchased at the store) and smiling, greets his daughter who looks a bit distraught. Camera pans to several lemons that are stashed all over the room/house. The older fella was suffering from Alzheimer's and although he knew he needed to get lemons, it seemed to close loop with him and he'd get lemons daily.
When you stated you'd bought glass cleaner here, but couldn't recall why...well, a joke just ain't funny when you have to explain it.
