Hey guys I got a bit of a problem hear , I went to cabelas last week to buy a cleaning kit and now I am cleaning my GSG and i noticed it don't have a 22 cal swab end would it hurt if I used a coton swab to push my cleaning patchs thruew ? To me I dont think
It will hurt cause there's no mettel rubing its just coton I don't know I am not a pro but maybe you guys know some thing I don't ?

Won't hurt but it'll just be troublesome IMO

Ya I cleaned my baby but yes it was harder to clean with the qtip but last night she went threw 200 rounds lol for the first time , for oiling use frog lube this stuff just dose wounders no joke this , yesterday before I went to the range I used it all over the rails any where there was frickstion and before I used it u could feel the fraction but after I used it wow it slided like a whole diffrent gun amazing

Take care of your 22lr, take the time to clean it, yes you can go 1000-5000 rounds in it without cleaning it....., for all my guns including 22 caliber I clean them after each shooting session even if it is only a 100-200 rounds session....., going that way you increase the life of your gun (for all parts).....,

why wait until it start to jam up ?? my answer is : negligeance because of laziness ... well, it is a personal choice.....laziness.... this those not make a better gun.....it is what it is, a clean gun is a better gun, no one will argue with this...

boresnake, cleaning rod, brush, whatever you take to clean your gun and works for you !

Edit : Take care of ALL your gun !! shame on you if not ! lolll lazzy people :p

And for the barrell/bore, for each 800-1000 clean it with ''M-Pro7'' (copper remover), yes more addapted to gun shooting copper bullet, however, it bring the bore shinny as if it was brand new, works very well with no smell....

So you change your oil everytime you take your car. Or better yet rebuild your engine after a few hundred miles...Its not laziness. Its not wasting my time... Big difference...

Grow up my lazzy friend, read my post again, ...., you make your choice...

It's fine, it will just take a few rounds to foul and start shooting tight again from a clean bore.

that's the thing , I am a clean freak , after I cleaned the bore out I looked threw it DAM nice and shiny lol I love the riffling lol then when I oiled the Girsan dam even shinyer lol

I shot 200 rounds last night with my GSG and that was the very first time it has ever shot any amo and out of 200 rounds not one jam not one misfire just very good rounds , its funny when I picked up my guns yesterday and when I was at the place where I picked up my guns I bought this stuff called Frog Lube , man this stuff dose wounders , before I applied it on my GSG I played with the slide once and I noticed there was friction then when I took it all apart I applied the Frog Lube to the slides the surfaces and anywhere that there is friction I added some and when I put that GSG together it felt like a whole different gun totally , it slided so smooth I could not feel any friction at all it is a whole different gun its even better then brand new lol . If you want to see another good gun look up Girsan Regard I got that one in the Bright White and I love it ,its a 9mm but DAM she is pretty lol look at my profile pic

you've got it, and some gun do works better shooting them more ''wet'' (with more lubrification), my PX4Storm was like this, it was shooting no problems with no lub, but once ''wet'' you could feel the difference, the action was smoother....

ya frog Lube dose wounders to firearms

Enjoy your GSG! It's an awesome gun.

One area you should pay attention to with your GSG is the cleanliness of the magazines, and the spring tension. All of my failure to fire issues have occurred on the second round coming out of a full magazine. It's been a sign of the mag being dirty. If I still get a light strike on my second round after cleaning the magazine, I'll give the spring under the follower a tug until its 6.5 to 7 inches in length. Seems like the spring doesn't push the cartridges up enough so the pistol has trouble stripping the second round off. This weirdness typically happens after I've run 200 rounds through the magazine.
