Hello All,
I was shooting with my girlfriend for the first time on the weekend and she liked it enoguh that I think she will go again once the weather warms up. I would like to have a 22 bolt action rifle to train new shooters on, her and others, but I do not ahve one in my inventory yet.
My father bought one of the Norinco JW-15A 22lr bolts a couple years ago and it is suprisingly accurate for a $160 rifle. The only reason I have not picked one up yeat is that I had no real need for one until now, and the actions looked like they were milled by a blind person.
My question for you guys is would it be worth buying one for this price and have the action cleaned up by a gunsmith (trigger, action), or should I just pay the extra money and buy a better rifle? What would I be looking at for cost if I did have this work done?
