I have been shooting Blaser ammo in my 45 and find it really dirty. I know I have to clean my guns, but after 100 rounds at the range the guy next to me needs a shower! It is fine accuracy wise and reliability wise.

Can anyone comment on how it is cleanliness-wise in relation to Norinco 45ACP, which seems to be the other volume value buy these days?

Ive shot tons of both out of my 1911 and to be honest, id never really noticed blazer to be that bad. The norino stuff is dirty as hell tho. Ive even noticed residue on my face after a few hundred rounds at the range haha, and theres a noticable black puff out the barrel every shot. But hey its cheap and ive never had a bad round in 2k+. For the record i havent run much for expensive ammo to see how clean it is. Ive also noticed that some of the rounds are a bit corroded out of the box, but they have sealed primers, so no big deal.

+1 on the dirty for the Norinco. It's decent cheap ammo so not really a complaint. It gummed up my Norinco Commander so bad after only 100 rounds I had to clean it right on the spot. The whole slide was caked with black residue. I think that batch was worse than a little normal though. I ran hundreds of rounds of Norinco before that and it never gummed up the gun before. But there was still a noticeable layer of black all over the gun inside and out.
