Probably one of the easiest to apply, excellent coverage with no fuss. The product I use is called Super Durable clear from Smoke over on the Castboolit Forum but I'm sure one of your local sellers will have an equivalent.

Coated and ready to bake.

You're coating RB? Why?

I just ordered 2 different types of clear PC from Emerald: NEW TRUE SATIN CLEAR & MIRROR CLEAR

Going to try them on 9.3x62 bullets at about 2500-2600 fps and some 458winmag bullet.

Probably airsoft BB's for better static and coverage.

I wonder if it would have any benefit for buckshot though?

I pretty much use air soft BB's with the clear coat because I had some or Pony beads with everything else when coating my bullets, It enhances the static charges and kinda give the bullets a buffer and I just like the results I get using them. Many individuals don't use anything at all and get excellent results as well. it's just a personal choice.

I use a medium ziploc freezer bag. Dump in the bullets and powder, seal the bag, put in #5 container and shake/swirl. The plastic bag on plastic container creates the static.

Might have to try that. Bought the BB'S but have been doing bulk pistol bullets and don't really want to have to pick them back out.

Might have to try some of the clear powder too. Looking forward to hearing how everyone's tests go.

My powder came in. Light pink to make some girly 45/70 for my wife.

Satin black, just because it was cheap

You don't have to pretend it's for your wife. We're all friends here, don't worry about it. :)

I saw some pink bullets loaded in 44 Spl. at the range last summer. At first glance I thought it was lipstick.

Not quite a rock band. The powder did just as well/bad as other powders I have.

Sorry, I just can't think of a reply to that. Kind of a conversation killer it seems. :)

Moving along. Got the clear powders and going to cook some in a few days. Will post some pics .
