Click here for FREE Ruger 10/22 NHL playoff pool!!!

I really don't like the format of having 5 choices for each spot (as opposed to being able to pick whoever you want for each spot). Oh well, beggars can't be choosers. Good luck everyone!

I'll send out one more round of invites for guys who registered on our site today. After this though we have to cut it off. Deadline to register is in and hour and a half or so.

Check your emails in the next 10 min or so.

Entries are now cutoff. If you didn't get an email earlier or in the last five minutes, sorry about that. Keep in mind that the NHL regular season starts in the fall and due to the interest in this draft we'll for sure be doing something for that as well.

Thanks and good luck!

WIN A FREE RUGER 10/22!!!

NHL playoffs are right around the corner and we here at Prophet River thought it might be fun to get our customers involved in our staff pool. Clay is offering up a few prizes to make things interesting and the best part is that the pool is open to anyone who wants to join! It will be a standard box pool where you pick the best choice among four or five players. The leader at the end of each of the first three playoff rounds will receive a $50 gift certificate to Prophet River. The leader after the cup is hoisted will receive a brand new Ruger 10/22!!

All you have to do to enter is simply visit our website at www.prophetriver.com and create a new account under "My Account" at the top right of the page. Once the NHL regular season is done we will email you a link to follow in order to setup your team. If you already have an account on our website then kick back and relax as you'll receive your invite to the pool without having to do a thing!

And here's wishing BAD luck to all of you as employee's ARE eligible for the prize!

What a load of Shill! WHO DO YOU WORK FOR! lol:D

on another note, I entered my hockey pool choices rather randomly. I don't watch hockey (please don't come after me *cowers*) but I have a gf who loves hockey and beer (not a myth, they do exist!)... Should have gotten her to choose for me haha

Sorry we couldn't make you happy by getting you entered. I would like to say however that on three separate occasions I sent out groups of additional invites to latecomers who registered after the original invites were already out. If you look at the posts above you will see that I sent out 15 or so invites only an hour or so before officepools.com was cutting off the entry deadline. These were for people who had registered on our website from 9:30 this morn til this afternoon when I sent them out. I had also sent out invites this morning at 9 for those who registered only yesterday.

As you can see I made a big effort to get everyone an invite who registered on our website. We like to treat our customers right and that is hopefully well known around these forums. We put an emphasis on customer service which has earned us many repeat customers.

One further comment... I'd just like to state that we don't send out any spam emails and not even any advertisements of any of our stock. We rely on the forum board and word of mouth customer referrals for our advertising. This hockey pool invite was the first time we have ever sent out a single email to our customer base as we wanted to have some fun and give away a couple prizes to those that support us. In the future you all will likely be getting another email as the NHL regular season starts up and again at playoff time next year. So I guess if anyone doesn't enjoy a free chance at a 10/22 while watching some hockey then they can just click delete twice a year.

To the poster I quoted above, again I just want to apologize for not getting you into the pool but officepools.com does have a cutoff at some point and your registry must've been just a little too late. I will be changing the info at the top of our forum threads tomorrow morning as there is only so many hours in a day.

Enjoy the pool and once again wishing everyone bad luck as yes employees are eligible to win the prize!!
