Hey guys someone from Hunting BC thought zi should ask my question here.

I have a husqvarna 30-06 AB with a drop plate. I am looking for a clip for it.
Was there a kit made or am I out of luck. If so where and how do I go about getting one.

There was a single stack magazine available for Husqvarnas at one time. May still be for all I care. I think they only held two or three rounds if I recall correctly. You removed the follower and magazine spring from the Huskies and just dropped them in the factory magazine box and closed the floor plate on them. They were pretty shoddy sheet metal assemblies and I wouldn't have one in a rifle I owned. A couple friends had them and eventually lost their original followers and springs. I supplied them surplus parts to convert them back again.

I didn't realize that Husqvarna made rifles with a Mannlicher type magazine that required clips to load.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

"...Except that one of the things that was made..." No clips were made for Husqvarna hunting rifles. Magazines, yes.
For rifles made to use magazines, there are no conversion kits for converting a hinged magazine floorplate to a detachable magazine like you can a Rem 700. Likely no aftermarket stocks either. Husqvarna has been gone for a long time.
"...didn't realize that Husqvarna made rifles with..." One of Sweden's military suppliers.

You don't know what you are talking about, sunray.

The word "clip" was in quotes with a smile after it, because that is what the original poster used.

There were conversion kits available from Husqvarna for converting a hinged magazine floorplate to a detachable magazine. I know, because I sold many hundreds of them!

They were not like the conversions for 700 Remingtons, but were exactly what stocker posted, single stack magazine that replaced the follower and magazine spring from the Husqvarna rifles.

They were sheet steel, blued, stamped with the appropriate caliber, and held three rounds. You just dropped them in the factory magazine box and closed the floor plate on them. They rattled around and were noisy, but fed flawlessly.

"...conversion kits available from Husqvarna..." They've been out of the firearms business since 1970. Completely out since 1989. No parts or kits of any kind.
kb-qtown is looking for a kit that is still made. What you sold or didn't sell years ago is irrelevant.

Where does it say he's looking for current production or from Husqvarna?? You're making stuff up again...

You're just digging that hole deeper, sunray! :runaway:

"Was" is the key word here. "Was" is past tense.
