How long does it normally take to get an ATT for handguns. Already have my restricted PAL, belong to a club, have taken the handgun course, and submitted all the info to the guy responsible for them. I just don't seem to remember my brother's or dad's papers taking this long.
Thanks

If you're in ON, that means the club takes care of it. Do you know if they send in ATT applications on an individual basis? I know at my club, they send'em in once a year, and from then it takes a few weeks, but you're definitely screwed if you drop off your application a month after they sent the year's batch of applications...

You get a temp Att to bring it home. Your Att has to have the registration # on it for all of your Restriced's... There fore when I buy a new Restricted firearm, I need to get a new ATT... I usually get it at the same time I get my TATT. One stop and I'm done. I have learned to buy Restricted on a weekday, as the CFO isn't in on weekends. I buy, go to the CFO, Go take my gun home.... Usually take about an hour, from when I pay for the gun to when I get it home. Or I could wait for 2 days for the CFO to fax the TATT to the Gun store, then pick it up.

Most clubs send in after the CSSA course is completed or proff of completion is provided.
