CMMG Anvil

Where did they state that? It is less of an AR than the MH/MV line of rifles.

The time line is not correct as the cmmg line of rifles is not all that old and the NR FRT process takes years on a good day unless one submits it as an AR variant to fast track it's approval for sale as a restricted only

It's restricted bud!!! Wish it wasn't but it is. Bringing it up in every cmmg thread isn't gonna change that. Let's just enjoy the O.Ps
Badass new sporting rifle.
Restricted or NON I'm loving it thanks for shareing Curtis

My post in no way is directed at the op, this has come up on other forums that the CMMG mutant was submitted as an AR variant to fast track it given the time line

I believe it's you that keeps bring up the "fast track "issue isn't it not. I've read it in a few threads regarding cmmg's and what is your point is all.

First time seeing it, also confirms that a rifle was never submitted for inspection as what has been stated by others on other forums

I know when CMMG put in for the FRT, they submitted the dimensional drawings of the Anvil, the RCMP could have easily have seen the differences in the Mutant line

My point is if I had one to submit I would, I'd pay $1000 if someone submits theirs to get te FRT process started/reviewed if we are still within the year

Unless it was submitted by quester as an ar variant, so to speed up the process and get to sell them quicker.

Why don't you just buy one and submit it

If it does not end up with a favorable decision I don't want it, I'd rather put up half the money of a new rifle if someone else submits it and we are not past the 12month threshold that C42 established for status changes

As I've mentioned in a previous thread we made no request to have the CMMG Mutant 'Fast Tracked' or made any indications to the RCMP as to HOW it should be classified as a forum member continues to insist. It is in our best interest to have one classified as N.R.

What makes more sense, us wanting a Non-restricted rifle which would have huge appeal or just another Restricted rifle?????
