You actually use your forward assist?

Apparently there is some use for them. This is a reply to your question on another post started by Clobbersaurus on .22 uppers:


The Forward Assist is used in press checks, loading the gun silently, its used to fully seat the bolt when things are getting really dirty (this being a good idea is debatable), and its used in immediate action drills.
 
Did you import from Brownell's? What exactly is involved?

No I'm in Texas. But except for the SS bolt I think you can get close to everything in the model that was carried by Questar. I also got the bolt hold open adapter which holds the bolt open without an empty magazine. I would try to get that if possible but it's not a necessity. The mag does hold the bolt open after the last round.
