This could this possibly skirt the OIC ban and the new bull**it based on "when" the firearm was designed/developed...

There wasn't a lot of chatter on either of the Dissent threads, and the Mutant thread ended with people claiming it was "on the list".

* FWIW - the Dissent is not on the publicly available OIC list via the RCMP website, but the "MK-4" is (which is a typical AR-style firearm, not the "Dissent")

doubt anything like that would get approved prior to an election. The RCMP lab just took 4 years to approve a bolt action from Spectre Ballistics

I was wondering if it could make it here. It's pricey in the states so it would be very expensive here... Still i'm interested if it comes here.

I mean its similar enough to the ARES SCR that they just called an AR-15 anyway. At least this appears to have a non standard upper going for it.

Save your energy for a new election cycle nothings happening with the current state of things.

The US market is making state compliance rifles (ie California and others). So some of these designs may make it up here. Considering that the lower and upper are not AR15 spec there is a chance
