Having entered into the pistol calibre carbine (PCC) world with a Colt-pattern 9mm AR, I've begun to really appreciate the fun of an AR with lower 9mm ammo prices. Plus, being able to shoot at steel up close with an AR is really fun too.
This new PCC design from CMMG seems to be an evolution of the concept. Their Radial Delayed Blowback (RDB) design allows them to lighten the bolt, carrier and buffer, apparently reducing recoil. Further, their approach to last round bolt hold open (LRBHO) with Glock mags seems very well-designed from a reliability and leverage perspective.
