Just bought a whack of CMMG/Metalform 9mm AR pinned 32rd steel mags from IRunguns.us website. $51/mag pinned plus shipping to me; ITAR and pinning included.

They are still up on the website...for now.

It appears they pin and sell a ton of mags to Canadians

OEM Colt 9mm mags were made by Metalform. That's a stellar price given what Colt marked mags go for now.

Its not just the price, its getting the dang things, period.

According to the boys over at ARF.com Colt is once again using Metalform.

Jason at Irunguns.us mentioned sometime last month that they update their webpage at night and the guys on the east coast check the site first thing in the morning and snap-up all the mags before the west coasters even wake up. I've been checking their site every morning since then. I can't believe they are still available. Can't wait to get my hands on those babies.

Have you tried to get Metalform 9mm AR mags in and if so what did they tell you?

We made an inquiry a couple months ago about having some done up to LAR15 specs, they were looking at a couple weeks to fill the order (not too bad). Metal Form only claims to make pistol magazines, so there was a good chance that getting a LAR15 mag would fly. However, we'd have to import FAR more magazines than anyone could justifiably want or sell before the exporter could be bothered with laser engraving (Metal Form doesn't engrave). The demand the US manufacturers and retails are trying to keep up with is the limiting factor in everything these days. Either the Americans have no stock, or they're swamped trying to get stuff out the door.

it would be much more economical just to stamp the marking on the mag, but that would be much easier/cost efficient at the factory
