CMMG MK47 AKS13 16" 7.62x39mm IN STOCK

Question for Wild West:
I see that the Mk47 uses a heavy bolt head based on the Mk3/308 version bolt head for the 7.62x39 cartridge. Does that mean that it uses a standard 308 barrel extension, or a proprietary extension? Just wondering about the ability to change between different length barrels.

From what CMMG has told me they use a proprietary barrel specific to the MK47 Profile. I believe different lengths are available though

Heard back from CMMG - they use a DPMS style 308 extension. Figured that might be a good bit of knowledge for someone out there.

The Mutant will take a DPMS style .308 barrel extension and at this time we do not offer the spare bolts but look to have that done before long. Hopefully within the next few months that will be setup.
