CMMG Mk47 announced

This is a cool rifle, would def be interested. Maybe not tomorrow, but I like the concept. If I was to go with a AK round AR this would be it hands down!
 
Hey, nice work on the CMMG's. :)

How about trying to get the Galil ACE pistol and rifle in at some point? An excellent argument can be made that these are not AK variants.

That would be amazing if that happened!!!!!

Whoever bought one of these needs to do a sweet write up for us all.
I want it but i will probably hold out until a pistol or sbr version comes out.

CMMG has now made a K version with a 10" barrel as seen here:

I have the standard version that has been upgraded considerably.

I took my mutant out for a weekend carbine course. No issues at all. made the mistake of letting someone who was familiar with the AK platform try it out. they mag locked it. tried to bop out the mag but decided to go the quickest route and pop out the screw holding the mag catch.

due to my own stupidity, i couldn't get the spring back in because i was putting it in incorrectly. ran the last third of the day with my DD. once i figured out how the spring went in, i realized how easy it was.

when i was running the gun, it ran very well. no issues. my PWS FSC30 and Magpul Fixed MOE stock soaked up all the recoil and even others on the firing line didn't complain about my muzzle break at all.

Ran about 150 to 200 rounds. To date gun has probably seen close to 500 rounds. not a hiccup at all.

Gun definitely needs an extended charging latch. My badger gen II works very well and I'm glad i made the investment.
 
pfft for that price get yourself some real quality, a PWS piston ran AR in 7.62
sounds like the cmmg is direct impingement yet claiming AK-ish design....lame
