Yes I repaired the mill to run as it was intended originally. Unfortunately its memory was real small, like 8K. I decided to remove a 500 Lbs of the original control and build a new one.
This was my first box O goodies. I have since removed the DC power supply and put it in its own box.
Top round thing is a toroid transformer. I unwound the secondary and added some length to it to increase the secondary voltage to get 70V DC once rectifyed, I think it was originally out of a large batt. charger.
Below that are 2 large capacitors.
The large green card to the left is the computer interface card.
The 3 smaller cards in the botom are stepper motor drivers.

The bolt tool path was hand written. I do have access to MC9 though, now programing 9 to do a helical tool path would be a challenge.
