Coach gun Barrel Lengths ??? whats the Best length?

Looking at Coach guns orignaly they were from 12 to 20 inchs just wondering which length is best and whats around to buy.

If there factory made new with 12 inch barrels they would be legal. If they can get away with 8.5 inch barreled pumps why not shorter coach guns?

Whats the best paterns your getting from 18 inch or shorter barrels?

Look at Canam's web site he has a 12" coach called the outlaw.
Looks like your wish is answered their non-restricted.

The 12" outlaw is not very good for Cowboy action if that is what you are thinking, best to stick with the 20" ones.

Ya im getting some fedback in the other Shotgun section, The 12s are to whippy and hard to control.
least id go is 16 inch maby 18.
hitting stuff is important unless you have one just to shoot 25 ft or so then it dont mater i guess.
