Can anyone recommend an internal hammer coach gun? Looking at Stoeger at the moment, but curious if there are any other options out there.

I was fond of the Stoeger I had, only sold it because I wanted a hammer gun. I never had a problem with it mechanically. I liked the way it pointed and handled. You have the option of the supreme model with Stoeger as well, which gives you screw in chokes and a recoil pad. Boito is another option. AFAIK Boito actually manufactures the Stoeger these days. Not sure which is more affordable but I just purchased a Boito full length SxS and it looks like the same thing as a Stoeger to me.

Don't think you can top the Stoeger for a hammerless. However I'd give mine up for a CZ with hammers. God thats a nice coach gun

I've had a Stoeger coach gun for a few years now. It's a reliable, low cost little unit that has never given me any trouble for over 400 ish rounds. It also puts Winchester 2 3/4 slugs right on top of the bead at 50 yrds out of the right barrel, very handy.
