Coating on binos

What are the signs that the coating on a pair of binos are failing?

My pair I have has a could spots on them.

Is this cause to send them in for warrenty?

It's a older pair of zeiss conquest and would warrenty be valid?

Have you cleaned the lenses?

Sometimes a mold can grow in the glass itself. And sometimes the coatings can fail. These issues are not common in newer Zeiss binos but either problem should be warrantied. Impact damage is not.
