Coating to match Stainless

I would like to coat some chrome moly bottom metal to match the stainless rifle. Does anyone do a coating that is a dead ringer for SS? Thanks.

This is what KG calls "matte brushed stainless"

It's pretty close, on something like bottom metal that is not side-by-each with the stainless parts you'll probably not see a difference unless your looking for one.

Matching the 'flatness' or texture is is the bigger problem than actual color.

Thanks. That is pretty close. I'm trying to match the factory finish on a SS Model 70.

You'd probably have to coat the whole barreled action that colour in order to get a consistent look.

KG coatings, out of Texas I believe. I searched for a Canadian distributor a while back and came up empty. Alumnahyde is also pretty good(Brownells prod.)
