coatings on benelli coming off

I'm looking at putting armacoat on the barrell of my benelli nova pump because of the finish rubbing/scratching off with light use. Has anyone else had this problem, and is the black finish on the synthetic nova parkerised? I read on armacoats website that if it is parkerised you can coat right overtop without needing to sandblast. I've tried to find out what kind of coating it is to no avail.

I am not very impressed with the camo paint job on my M2. The gun is brand new and unfired and I have some places on the receiver where I can scratch the finish off with my fingernail. I am in the process of deciding whether to return to the dealer. Other than that, I really like the gun and it is my third Benelli,

I had the coating come off just from leaning it up against the blind. Its not real bad Ijust dont think I should have to baby it when afield. I am gonna look into the warrenty. Anybody know about the coating?

My bro's stoeger 2000 was the same, they use a heavy almost like paint it seems on their guns, nothing near the quality of a browning or winchester camo dip.
