A co-worker of mine has one of these rifles.Looks like a 98 Mauser sporterised by this company.Anyone familiar with this company and what they did?This gun is now in rough shape and we are curious if a restoration is in order.You can tell by the quality still visible that these people did not 'bubba'

Cogswell and Harrison were a British firm that built sporters on Mausers. Pre war versions are quite nice, and worth restoring. Post war, maybe not so much. It all depends on how much work it truly needs. - dan
