I recently came across a Cogswell & Harrison mauser98 in 30.06cal. In very good condition. It has express sights, raised cheekplate, pistol grip, checkered stock, hinged scope. Does anyone have any idea what this rifle could be worth?
Without a pic. about $250 to 350 - I have one and would like to see some pics., mine has a 2 grove barrel like on some U.S. Springfields. I guess they used what was cheap and available. Chances are CH made several grades so quote is a quess at best, going simply by what I paid. --- John303.
