I just got a hold of a couple boxes of older type 12g shells, approx 20yrs old. Some shells are intriguing and without a box. I'm wondering if these are collectable/valuable.

-''Western'' Super-X 2 3/4'' 1 1/4oz #4 box 24/25 - (not winchester??? 16$ pricetag on the box  that must of been expensive back then)
-''Apollo''2 3/4'' 1 1/8oz #7.5 25/25 (made in quebec by valcartier industries??? Are they still around)
-Nitrokemia ''Hunter'' 2 3/4'' 1 1/8oz #7.5 10/25 (made in hungary with cool looking tiger faces on each shell)
-Dominion Imperial purple slug (says made in Canada on the back, got two and no box (are they still around?)
-Polaxid 2 3/4'' #7.5 (Image of a stag on the shell made in poland and appears to made of different plastic then most shells I've seen like a mix of plastic cardboard wax and paper look)

Without the box and in mint shape, they are not really worth much, less of they are waterfowl loads!:p
I have a mess of 'em like that and have either shot them to get the hull and re load it, or simply squeeze out the shot and re-load the same charge of Nice Shot for my 20 gauge guns and my 12's.

Shells aren't worth anything unless you have 25 in a mint box. Then they aren't really worth much more than a good box of modern shells. I'd keep a few of each around and put them in a display as well as any boxes.

If you want to sell them, go to a gun show. People get crazy at them and pay way to much money for crap....you may get lucky.
