collectible sks

Sks is like coin collecting, everyone has a opinion on whats rare, what isn't, value etc... The russian and chinese are like belly buttons, everyone has one! It all depends on who you talk to and what THEY are willing to pay. Alot of people have shooters and what is claimed to be non refurbished(non shooters). Hope this helps!

Get yourself a North Korean sks in pristine condition. That'll be as rare as Katy Perry giving me a blowie in space.

just keep an eye on the EE, you will occasionally find one Tapco'd, low end red dot, knockoff bipod grip, pin on muzzle break with the bayo lug ground off. These "builds" not only take a ton of effort but apparently skyrocket the value! So I assume they must be collectables, however I am NO expert!

And don't forget, hanging 2 pounds of crap like flash lights, lasers, range finders and other assorted Darth Vader tacticrap makes it priceless.
Seriously, most people consider the unrefurbished, used (by the military) to be worth a bit more. Other than that, if you remeber the Pokeman craze,,, need I say more?

..^^.. Could Happen!

Which one?

IMO everyone should have a shooter SKS and if you wanna collect look for the non-refurbs or really anyones you want. A collection is a collection no matter how rare or valuable the pieces are. Personally I'd love to add a refurb or non-refurb Izhevsk to my collection since they're less common than the Tulas.

Now theres an intelligent response, feel better now ?

GOOGLE: Collectible SKS

About 180,000 results (0.30 seconds)

So... its ok if everyone takes time to make comprehensive responses to a post that someone can't take .30 seconds effort to look themselves?

Relax... if everyone just googled things, we wouldn't have much to talk about on here. And everyone would be getting the same google answers. It's nice to get a different perspective, a Canadian perspective, aside from what google spits out.

Well it would seem no one but you feels the same since people have taken the time to respond, so maybe you should have saved yourself the thirty seconds it took you to respond and not responded at all.

If we all searched the net for all our firearm questions and not post them here then I guess CGN would get mighty boring. Its just like people that suggest searching here on CGN before posting any questions assuming that no new members would have any extra info to add.

Collect whatever you want and value it according to what it's worth to you.

What others think is of no consequence.
