I had a Kimber factory in 218 Mashburn Bee

22 JGR, I think they did 1 production run of 2 models of rifles and then 1 run of factory ammo before it flopped. But it was factory chambered. Also add the 224 weathermy magnum. Weatherby offered that for a while. Essentially a belted 22-250 equivalent.

Same here.

He once said “What’s your address?” and sent a 12k 470 double rifle, plus all the ammo, to test.

^ one time I told him I was thinking of buying a 405 and he told me had ~500 bullets and brass to send me if I did. The implication was that no money would change hands

One time Doug contacted me about a three way deal... I had told him a couple years earlier that I was interested in one of his rifles... two years later he said that there was a third CGN party that was envying one of my rifles and Doug wanted one of the third party guys rifles... values were pretty equivalent, so I shipped my rifle to the third party, he shipped his rifle to Doug and Doug shipped his to me... all participants were happy... for the life of me, I don't remember what the rifles were???

Yeah, no factory versions, for either the Mk I or Mk II. Good cartridges though, have had both, settled on the 22-243 Middlestead. Not much difference though, ballistically. - dan
